A senior U.S. diplomat, Kurt M. Campbell said the change in Burma is dramatic. The military-backed government is easing limits on freedom of speech and holding talks with ethnic rebels. There are some dramatic developments but the United States still has many concerns about issues in Burma.
Starting a new chapter in political ground will be taking so many time. The change that Burmese people want is not easy to implement over nights. Mr. Campbell said "I think it would be fair to say that we will match their steps with comparable steps and we are looking forward in the course of the next several weeks to continuing a dialogue that has really stepped up in recent months." However, time will decide whether their act will match or not.
